Two guys, a dream, and a racing team…that’s how the idea for Loud Art Graphics & Signs was born. In 2007 when Bryan Rothenburger and Jason Merritt decided they wanted to “dress up” their trailers for their motorcycle racing team, little did they know they were germinating the seeds of what would become Loud Art. They shopped around, got some quotes, did a little research, and found out they could do their own work for the equivalent cost of the graphics for one more race trailer. The choice was obvious…they went in together on a 24-inch vinyl cutter and the business was born.
Bryan brought his project management and technical focus to Loud Art, while his wife, Sumittra, was happy to apply her marketing and business education to create a brand presence for the new company. Together they nurtured the business, growing it mainly by word of mouth supporting local small businesses and entrepreneurs. In their second year they invested in a 54” wide-format printer, expanding their production capabilities exponentially.
What began as a spare-time venture has grown significantly over the last 6 years thanks to their loyal clients. Sumittra left her day job in 2013 to commit to building and supporting Loud Art full-time.
